Gigglebug, the heartfelt and infectious Finnish TV series for pre-schoolers, is on its way to the UK for the first time to get kids and families laughing together! Starring the favourite little forest creature with the infectious laugh, the Nordic sensation is now available on Channel 5’s newly launched Milkshake! YouTube channel.
Set in the enchanted Greengown Forest, Gigglebug shows his sometimes grumpy animal friends that you can achieve anything you set out to do if you have an optimistic outlook. Highlighting the healing power of laughter and how positive thinking helps children learn better, Gigglebug is a playful and profound TV series inspired by the emotional goals in the Finnish pre-school curriculum.
The series has already been a huge success in Europe, and is set to make a big splash amongst UK audiences with the launch of the first five episodes on Milkshake!’s first ever YouTube channel, and two new episodes released every week. It will also be available to watch on milkshake.tv.
As well as the hit TV series, Gigglebug also consists of three fun apps, three audio books, a music album and live events for the family. The app is so popular it has received more than 1,000,000 downloads, and has topped the preschool app charts in 64 countries – now that’s what we call infectious laughter!
